BE POSITIVE AND HAVE FUN!
SOKS Recreational Program is focused on participation and having fun. The priority of the league is teaching good sportsmanship, providing the fun of being part of a team, respecting one another, and learning and improving skills within the sport of soccer. We are committed to the concept that every child should have the opportunity to play at least half of every game. Keeping scores and results of games is not be a priority at any age level in this program. Especially in the younger age groups, some coaches are coaching for the first time. Please support them in any way you can. Working with your kids at home will reinforce the skills we work on in practices. Lastly, we all want our kids to succeed, so please remember during games and practices to try and keep all comments, cheering and shouting positive and constructive.
Thank you for your participation in SOKS!
